Yet Another Miracle

We came home from Church yesterday and there was an envelope on our doorstep addressed to us. Inside it contained a very generous amount of cash. I have absolutely no idea who was so kind to drop it off, but if whoever it was reads this blog, thank you...thank you...thank you.

There are a lot of large bills coming up for Ryan and me...Amy's delivery and hospital bills, utilities especially when my sister and parents arrive. The money is greatly appreciated. I only hope that Ryan and I can be instruments in blessing the lives of others too.

One of my favorite poems which has been made into a song is by St. Francis of Assissi;
"Lord, make me an instrument of thy peace,
Where there is hatred, let me bring love,
Where there is injury, pardon.
Where there is doubt, faith.
Where there is despair, hope.
Where there is darkness, light.
Where there is sadness, joy.

O, Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console.
To be understood, as to understand.
To be loved, as to love.
For it is in giving, that we receive.
It is in pardoning that we are pardoned
and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life."

I know that God is aware of our wants and our needs and often uses others to meet them. I thank all of you who listen to the promptings of the Holy Ghost to do acts of service for others. Not only have you been good examples to me, but you've also blessed my life as well. Thank you.
