More Blessings

Ryan and I awoke to our Carbon Monoxide monitor beeping. Pretty disorienting. I am so grateful for modern technology though which serves to protect us. We figured out that the pilot light on our upstairs furnace was still on, though Ryan had turned the furnace off. Ryan figured out how to put it out and unplugged the detector because it was still going. We cracked the windows as a precautionary measure and Ryan prayed for us...but since I was paranoid that I had a bit of a headache, here I am posting this at 1:15 am next to an open window in the kitchen.
