Cracked Wheat Sausage Recipe

Thanks to my sis-in-law Stephanie, we now can enjoy sausage, but NOT sausage! I know Jenny will really enjoy this, and I hope Corinna forgives me for forgetting a few ingredients when I gave it to her. Ryan really liked it, and with ketchup I don't think you can really tell it's not sausage:

"RaMay's Cracked Wheat Sausage"

1 cup cooked cracked wheat (my recipe is 1 cup dry cracked wheat plus 3 cups water and it makes about 2 or so cups -- boil, then simmer for 20 minutes)

1 1/2 tsp sage (I didn't have sage so I put a little marjoram, savory and thyme)
1 beef boulion cube
1 T oil
2-3 dashes garlic salt
2-3 dashes onion salt
1 tsp Worchestire sauce
1 T brown sugar
dash of cayenne pepper (I didn't use that: I put a dash of crushed red pepper)
1 egg

mix all ingredients except the egg and then you can taste it and see if you want to add any other spices. Then add the egg. If it's runny, you can add a little bit of flour. Form into patties and cook in a skillet. Delicious!
