new words

A year ago, Amy was just this little tyke. Crazy, isn't it? And doesn't she look bald in comparison? She is learning so much, and saying new words every day. I realize some phrases must just seem like words to her -- she'll hand me things and say "Deryugo", or say "Getchu" (get you). She also says 'tickow' (tickle), wall, door, keys, cheese, 'mow' (more), pee, poop, potty (she loves to sit on it and pretend that she's using it, but she's never gone), baby, 'winnow' (window), bum, peaches, cashew, pecan, 'Neeen' (our friend Justine who lives downstairs), ball, 'munga munga' (her name for her blue bunny), 'bunga' (boingy or bouncy -- she usually says it when she's the one doing it) 'weeweewaa' which translates into 'toes' . And, as of yesterday 'fwies' (fries) -- she really liked eating some french fries we bought at the fair. She's a bundle of energy, excitement, joy and love -- and we just can't get enough of her! So, sorry there are no new photos -- we are living, and enjoying life. We're going fishing this morning. Amy loves to play in the dirt along the side of the river bank.
