Holly symbolizes the crown of thorns Christ wore, and the berries symbolize the blood He shed for us. I like the idea of incorporating that into our Christmas decorating.
Wreaths symbolize how love can be eternal. Surely Christ's atonement made it possible for us to enjoy family relationships beyond the grave and that is something I'm very thankful to know about.
